If you are a university student, you are eligible for 25% off our normal price.

If you live in the UK and are receiving Universal Credit or ‘New Style’ JSA, you are eligible for 25% off our normal price. If you live outside the UK and are on benefits, please email us at admin@experimentalwriting.school to discuss your eligibility.

Disabled folk and carers are eligible for 40% off our normal price.

If you live in the UK and are receiving PIP, ‘New Style’ ESA, Carer’s Allowance, or IIDB, you are eligible for 40% off our normal price. If you live outside the UK and are on disability or carer benefits, please email us at admin@experimentalwriting.school to discuss your eligibility.

We will ask you for proof of eligibility before we offer you a concessionary rate.

We offer bursaries (free spots) at every course. Please email us at admin@experimentalwriting.school and we’ll send you an application link.

Please note:

• bursary applications close one week before the start of the course
• you will be asked for examples of your work for most courses
• you can apply for one bursary in every calendar year
• we give priority to folk who haven’t received support before
